Ray McCaskey, retired President and Chief Executive Officer of Illinois based Health Care Service Corporation, was elected this past April as the new Board Chair of the Lincoln Presidential Foundation board of directors at the annual meeting in Springfield.

Mr. McCaskey currently serves on the boards of the Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Life Directions and the Chicago Humanities Festival and is a member of the Board of Regents of Wartburg College, Waverly, Iowa. Over the past several years he has been actively engaged with numerous civic and cultural organizations, including the United Way of Metropolitan Chicago, the American Heart Association and Chicago United. He and his wife, Judy, reside in Chicago where both remain active in civic and community affairs.

Mr. McCaskey earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Wartburg College and his Masters of Science degree in Mathematics from DePaul University. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
