Every gift grows Lincoln’s legacy!
In 1859, Abraham Lincoln said, “Every blade of grass is a study; and to produce two, where there was but one, is both a profit and a pleasure.” Lincoln’s speech was about agriculture and education, but I think of his words whenever I see how your support multiplies the impact of our work. Because of you, programs planted years ago are now flourishing, and new seeds of growth have been sown, reaching more people and inspiring new generations.
This past year alone, tens of thousands of students were able to visit our award-winning youth exhibit, Lincoln’s Springfield. We’re in the middle of creating new resources to make the experience accessible to even more students.
Your support has also helped us plan multi-site efforts for America’s 250th anniversary, advance two major exhibit projects, partner on paid internships, produce original content for lifelong learners and educators, and launch the Latest Generation Film Contest for students, inspired by Lincoln’s words and launched with a special message from Ken Burns—who I’m delighted to share will be our 2026 Lincoln Leadership Prize honoree! We have more in store for the coming year, including the completion of exhibits, national expansion of our Latest Generation program, and new 250th programming.
As we look to 2026, your gift today will ensure that these initiatives don’t just grow, they thrive, reaching more classrooms, communities, and citizens across the country.
Please make your tax-deductible gift to the annual fund campaign today. Together, we can carry Lincoln’s legacy into the future when our nation needs it most.
