Please join Union Pacific Railroad and Lincoln Presidential Foundation in celebration of President Abraham Lincoln and the railroad’s new commemorative locomotive, No. 1616. This special event marks the railroad’s 163rd birthday and President Lincoln’s signing of the Pacific Railway Act.

Ceremony seating is limited. Registration Required

The public will be able to view the locomotive after a short presentation that will feature key dignitaries, including a Lincoln historian and a special guest in a top hat. The City of Springfield will also be honored with a Train Town USA designation.

Public Viewing: 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
