Overview

Calling all documentary filmmakers! Lincoln Presidential Foundation is proud to launch the Latest Generation Film Contest. Inspired by Abraham Lincoln’s question to an Indianapolis crowd during his inaugural journey—"Shall the Union and shall the liberties of this country be preserved to the latest generation?"—the contest encourages and support the efforts of young filmmakers to create documentary films that explore history around them. This first year the contest is limited to residents of Midwest states with plans for national expansion in future years.
